Daedalic Entertainment is thrilled to announce that Shadow Tactics: Aiko’s Choice, the standalone expansion to the acclaimed Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, will be available for PlayStation and Xbox players on December 6, 2024! After a successful PC launch three years ago, this much-anticipated expansion is finally making its way to current-gen consoles (excluding Nintendo Switch). PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S players can preorder the game today, with a 10% discount available until launch.
Developed by Mimimi Games, Aiko’s Choice builds upon the success of the original game, praised for its deep tactical gameplay and captivating Edo-period Japan setting. The expansion earned an 83 Metascore and a 93% positive rating on Steam, while Blades of the Shogun continues to be popular on consoles.
Console players can expect the same heart-pounding stealth strategy that made Shadow Tactics a favorite, optimized for PlayStation and Xbox.

About Aiko’s Choice
Shadow Tactics: Aiko’s Choice takes players back to the breathtaking world of Edo-period Japan. This standalone expansion follows Aiko, the kunoichi adept, as she confronts her past with her team of deadly assassins. Aiko must face her former sensei and cunning adversary, Lady Chiyo, in a gripping story of espionage, betrayal, and revenge.
Players control Aiko and four other unique characters:
- Hayato: an agile ninja who strikes from the shadows
