Borderlands 4 Gets Switch 2 Launch Date

  Borderlands 4’s launch date on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC has been set <a href="https://gameinformer.com/2025/04/29/borderlands-4s-release-date-moved-forward-state-of-play-announced-for-tomorrow">since April</a>, but Switch 2 owners finally know when they’ll get their hands on the upcoming looter shooter. That date will be October 3.

The news comes straight from Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford via a video on Twitter in which he reveals the date. Borderlands 4 arrives on Switch 2 just shy of a month after its initial launch on September 12.
