I was so excited to review Adventures of Kidd. Watching this development on social media was a great thing to see along with how well it is doing on the App Store. So of course, it was a win-win.
Your adventure begins as an introduction our awesome hero, Kidd and his journey as a resident of Adventureland. You scroll left to right across different backdrops as you must take on foes like surfers, delivery boys, tourists and more. Adventures of Kidd takes on a retro 2D arcade feel with some action-packed fun mixed in.
This game’s graphic is nostalgic and blends in some modern schemes with fighting animations and movements that are fluid. It really is amazing considering this is his first game. I got hype playing this game and enjoyed shaking things up in Adventureland (wait I’m a hero right?).
While this game is fun and definitely helps past time, I feel that it was rather short and was missing a bit more substance to it. Yes, beating things up are great but understanding why and the world a bit more can go a long way. Dean is planning to expand more to game and add additional playable characters in future updates for FREE. By then, we can revisit this review when more content is added to give a real sense of the Adventures of Kidd.
