ESPN has decided not to air a highlight show of the EXP Invitational Apex Legends tournament at the X Games on the network due to the recent shootings in Ohio and Texas.
The show was supposed to air on Saturday on ESPN2, covering the tournament that already occurred at the X Games in Minneapolis.
The tournament will air at a later date in October, and will still be available on ESPN’s digital channels.
The shootings have sparked other responses, from Wal-Mart removing violent video game advertisements in its stores to industry lobby group the ESA refuting Trump and other politicians’ assertion that video games are to blame for the incidents.
