During the latest episode in a YouTube series focused on CD Projekt Red’s financial quarters, CFO Piotr Nielubowicz affirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 has entered the “final stretch of development.” Despite switching the company to a home office model, Nielubowicz said that the recent success and popularity of the hands-on demo as well as the Night City Wire series means that CD Projekt Red has adjusted well in the face of the global pandemic. Nielubowicz ends the video stating “when we meet again in this format, Cyberpunk 2077 will have already been released.”
