Dr. Mario World was set to release tomorrow, July 10, but Nintendo decided to release its mobile take on the classic puzzle game a day early.
The title is “free-to-start,” so it’s not clear how far one can go before hitting a paywall. Microtransactions also exist within the game, where players can open what are essentially loot boxes to potentially gain the aid of different doctors, such as Dr. Peach, Dr. Bowser, or the titular Dr. Mario. The game has a single-player campaign and an online competitive mode.
