Sony has announced that it’s hosting another State of Play livestream this week, with an emphasis on current hardware. In other words, don’t go into the stream expecting to learn anything new about PlayStation 5.
The State of Play starts at 1 p.m. Pacific this Thursday on Sony’s official Twitch and YouTube channels and will run about 40 minutes. Sony says viewers will get some new information on several PS4 and PSVR games, in addition to updates on some of the third-party and indie titles that were shown during the June 11 State of Play.
“There won’t be any updates around hardware, business, preorders, or dates either,” Sony said on a related blog post. “On Thursday, our focus is squarely on showcasing some cool upcoming games coming to the broader PlayStation ecosystem. Should be fun!”
