Today and tomorrow are Amazon’s Prime Days, days on which they offer special incentives and promos to their Prime members. However, these days are not only for deals but global strikes at Amazon facilities. The strike is due to unfair pay in some regions and unfair work conditions in others. People have come together to boycott ALL Amazon properties from Whole Foods to even Twitch.
Streamers are joining the fight and some are completely off of Twitch in order to support the Strike.
It's Amazon prime day. Their workers are on strike. Don't cross the digital picket line!

Don't buy from them today or tomorrow! That includes Whole Foods and Book Depository.

To be in solidarity with the #AmazonStrike workers, I won't be streaming tonight. Don't forget that Amazon owns Twitch! Support workers!

I'll be back on streaming Wednesday, thank you for understanding and helping to fight for workers' rights! <3
This of course, does not mean ALL streamers or twitch users are joining in with others either on the fence or making it business as usual. What are your thoughts about the Amazon Strike?
