When it came to ’90s video game soundtracks, few publishers were as consistently great as Konami. Through series like Castlevania and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the publisher crammed a ton of awesome tunes into its titles. Now, players can take home one of the best soundtracks it put out during that period on vinyl.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time soundtrack is full of awesome tracks, and is available now through iam8bit. Fans have two editions to choose from: Big Apple Green Vinyl (a play off of the first stage’s name, “Big Apple, 3 a.m.”), and “Pizzasplosive.” Both are remastered exclusively for vinyl, but the Pizzasplosive features bigger pizza art and is limited to 1,000 units. Big Apple Green Vinyl is $29.99, while Pizzasplosive is slightly more expensive at $34.99.
To preorder the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time soundtrack on vinyl, head to iam8bit’s website. While you’re there, you can also check out the new collection of pins, featuring the turtles from when they went back in time, and one of the Shredder on the TV from the intro of the game.
