Chained Together New Map

Chained Together is sending players back to hell with a corporate-themed map, while its new competitive Race mode is available right now.

Apparently being chained to your friends wasn’t enough of a friendship-ending experience.

Developer Lab42 Games and publisher Secret Mode have announced that Chained Together is getting a free new map on November 12, 2026, introducing a corporate-themed nightmare filled with skyscrapers, giant fans, and obstacles designed to send players crashing back down.

The announcement also comes with a new 2v2 Race mode, which is available to play now.

Because nothing says teamwork quite like competing to see which pair of friends can suffer more efficiently.

Welcome to Corporate Hell

The upcoming map takes the game’s signature vertical platforming challenges and drops them into a new environment inspired by the corporate world.

Players will scale skyscrapers, jump over wooden boxes, avoid giant fans, and attempt to climb their way out of a particularly unpleasant workplace.

You can tackle the challenge solo or team up with as many as three friends.

The November update will be the first official developer-made map outside the game’s original escape from hell.

Secret Mode also says this is only the beginning of additional content planned for the game.

Chained Together’s 2v2 Race Mode Is Available Now

While the new map won’t arrive until November, players can already try the competitive Race mode.

The mode pits two teams of two players against each other in a race to climb as high as possible within a 30-minute time limit.

Instead of everyone working toward one escape, players now have another team to compete against.

The new corporate-themed map will also support 2v2 Race mode when it launches.

So if you thought falling because of your own teammate was frustrating, wait until another team is winning while you do it.

What Makes Chained Together So Chaotic?

Chained Together is a cooperative platforming game built around a simple concept: players are physically chained together while trying to climb out of hell.

The game supports one to four players, requiring coordination and carefully timed movements to navigate increasingly difficult obstacles.

One poorly timed jump can send the entire group tumbling backward, turning even straightforward platforming challenges into unpredictable disasters.

It’s the kind of game that can bring friends together.

Or make everyone mysteriously unavailable for the next gaming session.

When Does the New Chained Together Map Release?

The new map launches November 12, 2026, as a free update.

The 2v2 Race mode is already available.

Chained Together is currently available on PC via Steam.

Whether you’re returning for another climb or planning to test your friendships for the first time, there’s more chaos on the way.
