It’s a new month and more games are coming down the pipeline.

1. After Party

In AFTERPARTY, you play Milo and Lola, recently deceased best buds who suddenly find themselves staring down an eternity in Hell. But there’s a loophole: outdrink Satan and he’ll grant you re-entry to Earth.

Milo and Lola are now dead, thirsty, and roaming the streets of Nowhere, the outermost island of Hell.

LEVEL UP’S TAKE

The artwork from this game is amazing and blends the dark ambience with some hints of neon and bright colors. The gameplay is unique and interesting as you play as Milo and Lola as they try to find their out of hell in the best way possible (at the bar!)

2. Ayo The Clown

Ayo the Clown is a 2.5D side-scrolling platformer reminiscent of genre favorites like Mario and Donkey Kong. What sets Ayo the Clown apart from traditional platformers is its sense of adventure, charming and humorous characters, and RPG elements.Like the Legend of Zelda series, Ayo’s potential isn’t realized at the game’s offset. You will collect skill upgrades and extra hearts that add to your overall life as you progress through this lush world.

LEVEL UP’S TAKE

We don’t have eyes everywhere but this side-scroller came across our eyes on Twitter. The graphics were amazing and we couldn’t help but cheer for Ayo (for the name and cause the character design is adorable)

The teaser for each of the worlds are well-done and brings a new twist along the way. Interested in supporting? They have a KickStarter beginning on August 1st!

3. Moving Out

In Moving Out, players can train alone or with friends to learn the dos and don’ts of moving furniture. Expect plot twists, irreverent humor, cameos and borderline trademark infringing scenarios. You thought moving was dull, think again!

LEVEL UP’S TAKE

The trailer is HILARIOUS and a well-done spoof on a moving company ad. This game keeps the hilarity going as you must move furniture through crazy scenarios. With the possibility of co-op with a friend this can be a war zone and probably a lot of cursing at each other.

4. Ori and the Will of the Wisps

From the creators of the multi-award winning Ori and the Blind Forest, comes the highly anticipated sequel: Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

LEVEL UP’S TAKE

The sequel to the acclaimed Ori and the Blind Forest and this one was given just as much love. There is still some time

5. RPG Time: The Legend of Wright

“RPG TIME: The Legend of Wright” is a handmade epic RPG about a youth wishing to become a game developer. Explore the world of adventures, penciled within his notebook. Exciting RPG time await you in the classroom after school.

LEVEL UP’S TAKE

UNIQUE. This game is so different than anything else we have seen and it is definitely eye-catching. While the game is still in development, DeskWorks are accepting art submissions on their site for the game and thousands around the world have already taken part.

The game’s mix of 2D and 3D with some good ol fashion RPG elements makes it a game to watch.
