Tidus & Yuna (Final Fantasy X)
Tidus, a renowned Blitzball (think soccer meets water polo) player from Zanarkand gets teleported to the world of Spira. Tidus meets up with a well rounded crew which includes the summoner, Yuna. Tidus and Yuna’s journey brings them closer together as they share new experiences together and grow as one. During their time together, they must fight off an evil power known as Sin, however, this feat proves to be more difficult than what they imagined as sacrifices must be made.
Link & Zelda (The Legend of Zelda)
Link and Zelda’s romance has been told in many different ways over the years. The bond that has surpassed the test of times (and various timelines) as the two continuously find each other in some way, shape or form. In each story, they have helped to overcome Ganondorf (or an equivalent baddie) and reaffirm their bond together.
Nathan Drake and Elena Fisher (Uncharted)
No one can do the rollercoaster of a relationship quite like these two. Their beginnings isn’t quite the story tale as Drake cons her into coughing up money for his expedition and to top it all off… he ditches her. But nothing like some fighting and killing to really bring two people back together as we watch their sexual tension and chemistry build throughout the series.
Cloud & Aerith (Final Fantasy VII)
Another Final Fantasy couple on the list? Yes, yes it is. Cloud and Aerith’s romance was one that ended too soon. Their flame began as she hires him to be her bodyguard in exchange for a date (real smooth). As Aerith ventures Forgotten City on her own Sephiroth decides to pull the ultimate baddie move and kills her.

Joker & His Harem (Persona 5)
Ok… So we through this one in for fun but at the same time the romances you build with each are special in their own way. In Persona 5, you play as Joker as he builds relationships with different confidents to help unlock special skills. While you build these relationships, you are also learning more about these other characters and are given a choice of making it official. And yes, you can make it official with everyone if you want but there are consequences…
